    Not true to color
    I love these stools. Very easy assembly and seem that they will hold up nice over time. Daily use for the past 2 months and I just had to tighten up the screws on one chair slightly. The fabric is easy to clean. The only reason for 4 stars is they are not true to color and much more of a light white gray (as you can tell from the photos).

    Great chairs
    These chairs look great with our island. Seem sturdy as well but I am returning these because the seat is a little low for my kids. If that wasn’t a problem, I would have kept them. Love the color and the wooden legs give the chairs a nice look.

    I actually love these stools however per reviews I was under the impression that they were made of a vinyl like product. While receiving them they are definitely fabric and the grey is a light tone. However they are still worth 2 for 150 but I wouldn't pay more than that for them.

    Pleasantly Surprised
    I bought two sets (four chairs total) for my kitchen. They were easy to assemble and I was surprised on the sturdiness. There were a few errors in the chairs like one was a little wobbly and there was a nail coming out of another. Honestly, for the price I was okay with the errors and they were easy fixes. The chairs are comfortable and the grey is super cute and light. Definitely put some treatment on these before having people over!

    Why such good reviews?
    I’m so tired of wasting my time on lousy products and taking the time to build them and they are junk. Chairs are wobbly and instructions do not match the product. The drawing is different from the actual screw holes

    Decent barstools
    Pretty easy to put together. The only problem we had is one of the floor protectors at the bottom of the barstool was missing and now the stool is wobbly.

    Outstanding Chairs
    I was mildly hesitant to order these chairs based on some the the more critical reviews centered on ease of assembly and durability/strength of the chairs.I have to believe the several reviews that lamented on the level of difficulty assembling the chairs failed to read the 1 page assembly instruction (1-sided of 1 page to boot). The chairs were "easy-breezy" to put together...if you take 2 minutes to familiarize yourself with the parts and instruction steps. Took me about 15 minutes to assemble each chair - taking my time.Once fully and properly assembled I am pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the chairs are. While light, they feel completely solid (and quite comfortable) when I plop my 210 pound frame down onto them. My wife and children love, LOVE these chairs. I do too.If the chairs start to come apart over time, I shall revisit this review and provide an update, but as of right now they are an easy 5-star purchase.

    Love looks, missing parts, wrong screws, for 1 chair
    Missing all big washers, one of screws in top group wrong size, not long enough. No holes drilled in bottom of one side of seat cushion portions, see second picture for correct holes. Other box of 2 ordered everything was there and they turned out beautifully. Love them. Would like company to send correct hardware.

    LOVE THESE CHAIRS!
    I LOVE these "counter height" barstools. They are modern, a classy style and comfortable, too! The only thing that could be better is if the seat was 1" higher. The seat is 24 inches from the floor, and the top of my counter is 37 inches. It is the perfect height if you are shoveling food into your mouth! I am getting used to it, but this IS a flaw from my perspective. My previous "counter height" barstools' seat was 25 inches from the floor. Despite the lower seat, this is NOT a deal breaker for me. They are BEAUTIFUL and really add to my kitchen area!

    Average at best
    Came damaged, the feet were chipped or cracked. The look great from far. They are fairly easy to assemble, the cushion is not comfy or unbearable. Some wobble. The looks is definly the best part of them.

    DO NOT BUY: Very poor quality
    I've been using these barstools for a few months now and I'm very disappointed with my purchase. The material used is of low quality and it is poorly built. The screws keep falling off every other week. The height mentioned in the description of the product does not match the one I received. The box didn't have the plastic pads that are supposed to be nailed under the legs, even though it was mentioned in the assembly manual but is not included. So, now I have scratch marks on my floor. The seat is not comfortable either, doesn't have enough cushion foam or padding. It just sinks right in as soon as you sit on it. It felt okay the first few weeks. I'd recommend buy something else if you are looking for a quality product.

    New Apartment New Bar Stools
    Chairs came highly recommended, thought we got they would be quick and easy to assemble. The instructions were weirdly worded and the images were little to know help. If you don’t read the instructions to the t you can end up harming the product.Overall, they look nice, are very comfortable, and are a good price.

    One of the stools had a fingerprint stain on it before we even opened the package, one of the dowels were missing from one of the stools…I didn’t spend a lot but I was hoping for a bit better product.

    Inconsistent quality
    We bought 4 chairs (2 packages, 2 chairs each). The first package was great, and I assembled them without incident. In the second package, one of the chairs had some holes that should have been drilled, but they had not. Because I had assembled the first 2, I could handle chair #3, but this would have been very confusing if it was my first chair. Other than that, it's been 2 weeks, and we like the chairs a great deal so far!

    Attractive seating for a good price!
    These were well packaged, and my husband was able to assemble the two stools in less than an hour. He commented how clearly the instructions read and that the labels were appropriately attached to each part. My husband and I found them quite easy to assemble. They do not wobble at all. They feel study and safe. We are accustomed to heavy barstools, and these are a nice change! We used them this morning and found them extremely comfortable. The fabric looks attractive with a clean, crisp look. Recommended by us!

    LOVE!
    These stools were pretty easy to put together after I figured out which direction the side bars needed to face (they will stick out, not in, a bit before front legs are put on). Stools are very comfortable and fit our standard height counter with plenty of leg space. Supportive back and they are not wobbly like our old ones. Material is easy to wipe off. Would buy again!

    solid comfortable chairs
    chairs are sturdy and comfortable. They also clean up well if stained, toddler likes to get peanut butter and jelly on them and they wipe clean with some dish soap on a rag. They weren't hard to put together, just took awhile with the included allen wrench.

    A little wobbly
    If I had opened the box and put it together myself I would have returned these chairs, but my husband did it while I was not paying attention. There’s a bunch of white spots on the “wood” pieces that look like dust that needs wiped off but it does not come off. One chair is wobbly. They do happen to match my kitchen table exactly though and they are quite comfortable. They look good in my kitchen, but for what they are they are pretty overpriced. I could have gotten something better at Big Lots.

    Assembly Issues
    The first two stools we purchased and put together lined up perfectly and all was great! We then opened the next box of two stools and the holes did not align making assembly a pain in the butt! I am glad I opened the easier ones first or I would not have kept them. Once assembled, they are beautiful, sturdy, easy to clean and very comfortable.

    Great even after a year and 3 boys!
    We liked the light gray and for the most part still do... after a year there are a few spots that we can't spot clean out, but not too bad.They are comfortable and soft, but we might add a support board underneath to prevent them from sinking over time.We looked for a long time before finding these. We wanted to have comfortable cushion seat, a back to lean on, and a footrest for kids shorter legs.We would buy them again (purchased at about $100 each, before all the money dumped into the economy, sent prices sky-high)

    Trial and error got the job done!
    Giving them 4 stars because I liked them once I finally got them assembled after 3 tries! Was about to return tbh because thought they were defective but some helpful tips:The longest bolts go in the back, 4 of them per chair, and 4 medium ones go in the front and the smallest 2 go in the center hole of each chair. I did 2 large, 1 small in the back and 2 medium ones in the front first and tightened those leg bolts with the 3 side bars already connected then did the screws that go into the side bars and the rest of the bolts.This might have been clear to do in the instructions but definitely wasn't to me the first two times I tried!They also make strange sounds when I sit down like plastic moving but hoping that calms down after sitting on them for a few days and one of the chairs ended up slightly wobbly while the other was fine. Given the difficulty I had putting them together, it's probably due to something I should have done!

    Fantastic chairs!
    I absolutely love these. I have friends who are on the bigger/taller side and I have been in a search for something comfortable and sturdy, these were it. I ordered 2 as a test run in case they didn’t work out, then when I went to order 2 more they were all sold out. I’m super bummed because they haven’t been in stock again. People had mentioned they were a weird material so I expected a PVC kind of material that faked the look of cloth, but these were definitely a cloth material and my cat’s claws can attest to that :(

    Nice quality
    Really nice chairs. Quality seems good. The fabric is very nice. But I am not a large person 5'9" 128 pounds.......The seat feels a bit small. I'm keeping them anyway since they fit well at my small counter height table.

    Awesome stools... but what is that smell?
    I purchased 4 for my kitchen bar. Assembly was fairly straight forward - no issues. They are beautiful, but I had to put my stools outside for several days, in addition to spraying them with Fabreeze several times a day. I don't even know what they smell like... its different. And the smell is OVERWHELMING! I think it took several weeks before I could walk into my house and not smell it anymore (either that or I am used to it). Purchased them in August, it's now December. They have held up well - smell has disappeared.

    Different chairs + Damage
    I ordered 4 of these chairs a few weeks ago. I wanted to get 6 but figured I’d start with 4 to make sure I liked them. They are tedious to put together, and it takes a little time, but it’s easy and once put together they are nice and sturdy.My problem is with the last set I ordered. The last two are different chairs. It was hard to tell while still in pieces, but once put together it became clear they are not the same. The fabrics is whiter, and the leg color is more black than brown. I now have two assembled chairs that do not match the other 4. Extremely disappointed

    Nice and beautiful
    I liked very much! I wish they had more color options, like a dark gray. This color is pretty but with kids at home it's not a good choice. But I took the risk anyway. My husband didn't have much trouble assembling them. They looked really nice on my island.

    Decent stools but missing parts.
    Good product but bad quality control. The chairs were easy to assemble and are decently comfortable however items were missing. I purchased 2 sets so I would have 4 stools. One package was missing all the washers to assemble one stool and the other package was missing a dowel on the cushion. It’s not the end of the world as they are items that can be replaced from a local hardware store however it is inconvenient and extra expense.

    They look great. They are comfortable. Easy to out together but I just leaned up against the cushion and heard a Crack. The wood just cracked almost into. Not the highest quality of materials used. I have only had 2 months I am very disappointed They broke already

    What a chair.
    Bought these for our breakfast bar. For reference floor to counter is 35 in.Overall, very nice set of chairs. Assembly was very easy. They are Comfortable, nice ammount of cushion, but a little small in width for the seat part (for me) about 15in. Would reccomend!

    Didn't include screws
    Had to return this entire item because it arrived without any of the screws and other items needed to assemble the two chairs. Now waiting for a replacement order to arrive. Fingers crossed that it comes complete this time.

    A product looks used
    I bought 4 chairs and one of them looks used. I can see obvious stains on that one and the tool bag for that chair is open, so the nails are everywhere in the box. Besides that, all other chairs are good and pretty.

    4th try is a charm
    Took 4 deliveries (8 total chairs) to get 4 usable chairs, but it was worth it in the end. Of the first 2 sets I ordered, one box showed up in 2 days, and one got lost in the mail. Amazon sent a replacement, but that one had 3 left legs, so we had to return it. Finally got a good set on the last try. Some of the chairs were more difficult to assemble due to the holes not being exactly lined up. Despite the shipping and quality issues, the chairs look great and are very comfortable, and for the price they are awesome. I had been looking at something similar from a high-end furniture store but it was almost $1000 a chair. This is great substitute for a fraction of the cost. I also scotch guarded the fabric to protect against spills.

    Very disappointed!
    To start all lock washers were missing. Bolt holes for seat cushion had inserts that were not put in properly so you have to fight it for 20 minutes to get one in. A royal pain to put together. I would not recommend this product.

    These are the best $165 I've ever spent! I searched and searched for the perfect counter height chairs and finally pulled the trigger on these gems! These are so comfortable!!! The fabric is fabric, not plastic like some reviews suggest. It is a nice upholestry type fabric. Seems durable. The color is a very light tan-gray almost beige. The perfect neutral color. The wood is a weathered dark gray. Assembly was kind of pain, but I put both together myself in less than an hour. The seat height does measure right at 24" from floor, but when you sit in them, they sink just a bit. I tried to attach photos, but they wouldn't attach.

    Inconsistent
    I loved the first set, but the second set doesn't match it exactly. The cushions are harder and the wood is lighter. I needed 3 and I'm considering just sending the second set back and just having 2. The second set just doesn't match up right.

    4 out of 5 stars ... room for improvement
    These are nice bar stools with room for improvement. The instructions are impossible to comprehend. There are 3 different size bolts plus 4 wood screws. The instructions do not tell you what goes were. If you put the long screws in the seat back, they will penetrate thru the wood frame and ruin your chair. (FYI - the shortest bolt goes in the center of the seat cushion)On the hardware, one package of screws was missing 2 lock washers... another package was missing 1 lock washer. So overall 4 out of 5.

    Not the best quality stools
    Bought these stools in November and by January they were loose/wobbly and the screws were stripped so there is no way to fix them. I tightened the existing screws and the stools still work fine and are pretty comfortable otherwise! Cannot seem to find contact information for the company though

    Would definitely recommend these
    I really like the quality of the bar stools and want to love them. Material seems plush and very durable, especially compared to bonded leather that almost every bar stool seems to have. I guess we will see over time. Only concern is they are so much smaller than stool I am replacing. Seat height is the same, but the back is shorter. Seat pad is also narrower and shorter in depth to backrest. And front cross member would be better to have a slightly rounded edge, or at least the corner a bit rounded. That brace is uncomfortable on the bottom of your feet if you are not wearing shoes. I have been using them just over a month and the size might not be as much of an issue as I thought, but i do wish they were slightly larger. For the price, they are a steal to compared to everything else I have found, and maybe that has something to do with them being slightly smaller. I do highly recommend them, but also suggest you measure your existing bar stool and compare sizes to description.Update. Almost 3 years. Upholstery on these are still like new. The structure is definitely not as nice as the original stools these replaced, but is holding up ok. Definitely recommend and stick behind the 4 star rating. Just make sure you pay close attention to the dimensions.

    You get what you pay for
    I bought a couple of these, planning to buy several more if they worked out. That won't be happening. I'm not mad about it or anything, but I wouldn't really recommend these for anything but the lightest of use.The instructions are incomprehensible, several of the fasteners (the cheap wood screws) were totally bent, and once assembled the quality is just meh. It took about an hour to get the first one together and more like 10 minutes for the second one. Once you know how to do it, it isn't so bad... if the fasteners weren't janky and the holes lined up, etc.Once you figure out how to assemble them, it's not terrible. They are, after all, pretty cheap. The design makes it very difficult to get them to sit level. They are only somewhat comfortable for a few minutes at a time. The scale of the seat is a bit too small so they don't really fit adults very well. To be fair, my family are above average height. But they're also not very sturdy. The chair seat cushion doesn't have any bottom to it other than fabric (or possibly cardboard or something,) so it's only a matter of time before they wear out if they are used daily. d These are better suited as a decorative item that doesn't get actual use. And even for that, they aren't very nice looking (the weird distressed white/grey wood looks really odd.)Again, they're cheap, so I did not have very high expectations. Since it would be a hassle to return them, they will do well enough until I can find some higher quality ones locally.

    Adjust stool while it stands up.
    Our son put these together for us and he had difficulty adjusting the seats so they sat level. He figured out it was much easier to adjust them after he sat the stool up and then made the adjustments. After that it was fine. We really like the stools because my husband has difficulty with his balance and these stools don't swivel and make him feel like he is going to miss the seat. We also like the padded seat since our last stools were wooden. Much more comfortable while sitting at the kitchen counter.

    Difficult to assemble but so worth it!
    These bar stools are by far the hardest piece of furniture I have ever had to assemble. Step one of the assembly process requires you to screw the seat to the back legs of the the chair and I’m not exaggerating when I say this took me 10 minutes. The screws go in at an angle in each corner of the chair and the guide holes in the seat don’t appear to line up with the holes in the chair legs. Don’t let that stop you, though, after a lot of trial and error and some degree of pulling on the side of the chair to help line the holes up at first the seat finally went on and the second chair was much easier. Some of the reviews complain of the chair being wobbly once its put together but I found that if you tighten all your bolts when the chair is upright it helps level out all the legs. I did my first chair upside down on my counter and it was wobbly so for the second one I tightened it upright on the ground and no wobble at all! I think these chairs are beautiful once assembled and I’ll definitely be buying more of them. My only complaint and the reason I have 4 stars is that the product describes the Leather Seat as Ebony but the set I received are definitely a dark brown color.

    Returning/exchanging
    Mine came with some of the holes not pre drilled and the legs weren’t even. Returning it for a new one.

    Sets don’t match!
    I ordered 2 sets of what I thought was the same chair however the quality and color differ. One set has black legs and the other has brownish legs. Ordering replacement just to see which color they send this time!

    Chair didn't come with all parts and had broken parts
    This product is cute but for the price I feel like it should have came with ALL the parts. One chair didn't have washers, one chair came with a broken wood piece. I mean they're cute but these mishaps mess with the quality of the chair.

    Not for very large people
    Very comfortable, but on the petite side. A very large person would feel awkward on these.

    Broken, missing pieces.
    Arrived with a broken piece (see photo of broken seat cushion and how it should be). Also was missing 4 bolts. I accidently ordered 2 of these, but came to find out both of them were not how they shoupd be. One of them came without the bolts and the other came with the broken fixture for the seat that I took a photo of. It also makes a plastic like sound when you sit or move on it.

    Just What I Needed
    Our new home has an unused small island in the kitchen with just enough room for two slide-in barstools. Imagine our delight when we found a set of two slide-in barstools with a great rating?They were easy to assemble, feel quite solid, and have a great physical look and feel as well!

    Needed to take a trip to home depot, but otherwise nice chairs.
    The only thing I didn't like was that there were some parts missing and some of the holes were not drilled properly. This was nothing that a trip to home depot and a power drill/drill bit did not fix. Other than that, I love to color and the size for my house. I'll take pictures and add them later if I remember.

    Beautiful chairs!
    Great quality and super easy assembly! As long as you keep all the screws loose while you build and then tighten everything st the end, everything lines up perfectly. Just be aware that the hardware is greased a bit. It got on my fingers and turned them a dark orange color which I didn't realize until I flipped the first chair over and saw the orange smudge on the seat. It came off easily with a wet paper towel. But just beware. The cushions are a bit stiff at first, but with use they will soften. Overall I'm in love with these and will be ordering more!

    Very Nice!!!
    The barstools arrived quickly. I assembled both in less than an hour by reading the directions and laying and identifying out the hardware first. The process was not complicated. I removed the plastic bumper on the bottom of the feet and replaced with thick felt pads so that my hardwoods are more protected. The stools are attractive and comfortable - a value for the price. The fabric is a light grey weave - not sure how it cleans up yet...we're telling the kids to be careful ;o). Pleased with my purchase!

    Sits okay, pretty comfortable, but the provided assembly materials are junk
    The screws provided are so soft, the heads strip out almost like they are made to do so, before you put these together, run to the hardware store and get some drywall screws that match the length of the junk provided screws. They are Alen head screws and not everyone has proper Alen wrenches... which using the provided wrench, just makes the task that much harder and longer.Okay chair cheap cheap cheap Chinese junk provided for assembly. I MEAN CHEAP!Pretty disappointing over all, we bought these to match our tall chairs, and they do visually but not quality.I hate giving bad ratings, but I want to be honest. Once I assembled the chairs using my materials, some of them do sit level, the ones that don't are the ones that I tried to use the provided screws.I'm sorry but I cannot recommend buying these, simply because of the junk in the box. Also, the wood is quite soft and you could easily strip the screw out if you're not careful.

    At best, you have a place to put your butt
    Assembly wasn't hard, but some of the wood was cracked, at the surface of where the bolts are inserted, for the backrest to the seat.Once assembled, they were wobbly. I'm not small, but I kept checking for loose bolts as it was as of I was being pranked and expecting the chair to fall apart.The width and depth of the seat is good if you're smaller and much lighter. Middle school to teenager. Otherwise halfway up the bad of your quad, the edge of the chair digs in and feels like you're not on it all the way, and try to scoot back further into the chair.We assembled two and they both felt the same.The cushion doesn't have a lot of give. You sink right in as you get on it, and over time, it's not comfortable.Lastly, it's just a touch shorter, due to the cushion sinking so much. My wife said her chest was uncomfortably pressing into the bar and the counter-height dining table. Our current chairs didn't cause the same issue.We returned these, so if you buy these, don't delay to assemble and test.

    Gets a lot of compliments
    I purchased these as part of updating the kitchen. I have an eat-in/breakfast bar section that these chairs were perfect for. They're easily seen when someone comes into the kitchen and when I am entertaining guests, I receive a lot of compliments regarding them.

    Love them!
    I love these chairs! They look fantastic in person and are very comfortable to sit on. They weren't the easiest to put together. I had to get the hammer out to get some pieces to fit properly. But for the price, it is a great buy.

    Cute but…
    So I definitely love everything about these bar stools BUT they wobble. For the price though… I’m not really complaining. They are a super cute additional to my kitchen bar area.

    Inexpensive, but do the trick
    I am in the middle of a big remodel. So, I had limited funds to buy bar stools. I went with these because of the price. The ones I really want are over $300 per bar stool. I know I will end up replacing these down the road. In the meantime, I believe they will serve my families needs. They are cheap, both money and appearance. The cloth material is soft, but I fear it will not hold up over time. Two of the bar stools wobble. I will have to install a fix for both chairs, easy enough. But, it is too bad that they came this way. With all that said, I would buy them again for my current needs. The price worked for me and I was able to select a color that worked for my decor. If you are looking for a top quality bar stool though, this is not the one.

    Look great
    Assembly wasn't too bad except when it comes to tightening the cross bars the tighter I made the screw it was pushing the bar out of its joint. I am not a carpenter but I would think that means the screw holes were not drilled in the right place so the screw intended to hold it tight was actually pushing the bar joint out making a loose connection. Hopefully these will last a while until I can afford to buy something of higher quality. They look great and sit comfortably just need to be able to make the joints tighter.

    Easy enough to assemble
    Wasn't hard to assemble does the job seat seems a little soft in the middle as no support in the middle ( could of used a board or something but probably would of made seat harder) they look nice with the gray floors so we're pleased.

    Comfortable and sturdy counter chairs
    I bought these counter chairs as part of a staging scene for a renovated kitchen and they worked great. They were very easy to assemble, they felt great to sit in and the colour of the fabric was just right for the room. I sold these to my neighbour when the house was sold a couple of weeks after putting these in place and putting the house on the market. I wish I had kept them for another house I have been renovating, but at this low price it was easy to replace them online. I would highly recommend them.
