Well worth the money I paid

  2. Andrew Miles

Cuts through my heavy clay soil with ease. Struggled to understand how the wheels adjusted but Burrowmount customer services helped me out quickly.

  3. Alan Knight

I have not yet used it but it was easy to assemble and fits easily in the boot of the car.It was delivered 3 days late but it seems the courier was at fault not the seller.Hopefully it will help on my allotment.

  4. Amazon Customer

The item easy to assemble, with fuel started no problem. On use I found it not doing what it’s suppose to do. Turn over the soil , it did not. Instead it just bounce over the top. It would be OK. If your soil was soft.To get any result I have to force it to dig up the soil by weighting the machine down. This did make a result. But worried the machine would not cope and brake down. I got away with it so far. But more this year fingers X.

  6. David Moss

Great size for storage and good work horse for such a small engine. Blades okay bend a bit if in stoney soil but other than that is good

  7. Green fingers

Easy to assemble . I suffer with Parkinson’s and I managed to assemble it without help. Can’t wait to use it on my next project , an allotment . Go me!

  8. Nigel Davey-Lee

Used it to clean up beds around a building site!

Really impressed with this machine, much better than I expected, how the Chinese manufacturer supplies it for the price is beyond my comprehension! Not at all happy with the supplier, after 3 hours use the recoil did`nt work, I contacted Burrowmont, who asked me to telephone a mobile number, when I eventually spoke to someone I reported the fault and was told he would ring me back when he got back to the office, 7 days later and still no call.To-day I took it to a local company who fixed it in a few minutes (The recoil had`nt been tightly fixed to the engine). So I`m £20 out of pocket for a simple remedy that Barrowmont could have suggested – but did,nt bother.Great machine – No after sales service.

At the price I figured it was worth a purchase. Used the tiller on pre-dug ground and it made an excellent job. Its a small light weight 2-3HP unit so don’t expect it to do the work of a tractor….After 6 months of light use the unit began making a rattle and no rotation of tines, called Burrowmount, they collected it and repaired and back within the week. New gearbox required.Interesting point – the new gearbox has a greasing point on it while the original did not. This is much better – i can remove two screws and periodically pump fresh grease through and push out the old grease.i would not use this tiller on un-dug ground or very heavy ground – its simply not able for that, but you should not find that surprising given the cost and HP involved.Another nice aspect is the unit is narrow enough to till between my rows of veg which has allowed me do some real rapid weeding at low rpm
