    Great countertop dishwasher
I've been using this dishwasher daily for the past 6 months with no issues.Pros:- It gets dishes as clean as the full-size whirlpool dishwasher I had before. It’s actually quieter.- Good for a short rinse cycle if you only have a few items.Cons:- Depending on your setup, it takes up the precious counter space.- Needs to be somewhat close to the faucet/sink, make sure you measure it beforehand.- Some larger plates / taller items don't fit.- You won’t be able to use the faucet while it’s running.

    It’s okay
It’s okay I find myself washing the dishes almost entirely before putting them in there to be washed and it leaves white stains on glass dishes. I think it could clean a little better

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time
This dishwasher is awesome! Don’t have enough space to install a full sized one, so though I’d try the countertop option. It is amazing! Clean just as well as the full sized ones , is quiet when operating , and is just more than I ever expected!Pro tip— if the faucet adapter leaks a bit when running, so what you do with any other plumbing. Add plumbers tape. Fixated that issue right up!

    Looks nice, works ok
Cleans well. Doesn't dry well at all.Silverware basket handle was broken on one side when product arrived. Doesn't necessarily interfere with function but handle can't be used to lift basket out because of it.Dispenser compartment doesn't open all the way because of location of silverware basket. Out of about a dozen cycles so far, twice I've found the detergent pod still half way intact due to dispenser not opening properly, especially if any silverware is placed in front half of the basket closest to the dispenser. Not very quiet, but I didn't expect it to be.When draining however, the water comes out into the sink very loud and violently! High pressure dirty water discharge causes it to splatter all over everything around the sink. All together, it has a few quirks, but does what I needed it to do.

No more sighing over the dishes!
Leaked at first and I thought it was broken but it was totally user error. I disconnected and reconnected the hoses and this solved the problem. This thing fits perfectly on my counter, fits quite a lot of dishes including pots and pans (maybe a separate load), and cleans effectively. It is heavy and durable like a regular dishwasher and I had no problems connecting it to my kitchen faucet. Don't go for the small plastic compact dishwashers unless you are half a person who doesn't really cook. This fits just enough for two people with moderate use of the kitchen.

It just works. It took less than 10 minutes to install. Very happy with the purchase.

    Nice and compact, but...
I was worried that it might not fit my apartment, because the box it came in was enormous, but it fits perfectly in my VERY small apartment space. I'll add a picture after I get it working and clean.Installation looked easy, but my old faucet wasn't compatible with the quick adapter, I had to buy a male-female adapter. This is more because my faucet is ancient, and has a hose style threading. My only complaint is that it came with the front glass smashed. This says more about Amazon shipping than the product. It seems to still respond to touch and everything. Maybe I'll get a door off the manufacturer or something. Sadly, I don't think the warranty covers damage in transit.

    Worked great with quick connect.
Works fine after buying a new faucet filtration device that supported higher water pressure and two exports so the water can be released vertically. Try the Wingsol water filter with quick connectivity.

More affordable than a built in dishwasher, takes up space, this one is pricey, arrived dented 2x
I ordered this the first time for over $475. 5 days later it dropped to $375. Amazon wouldnt honor the price change. Also not super happy with the delivery service of this item on amazon.Within the first several loads, the E3 error code came on and I eventually returned it and bought again. Both times it arrived dented. The second time, the dent is really large and noticeable. Aside from that, I really appreciate how other units have fillable tanks within them so they do not have to be moved to the sink each load. Either way this dishwasher is going to save us SO MUCH time and energy and will also be more energy efficient.

The problem of their system "E4"
It's so beautiful design and easy to install. It was working fantastic for only 1 day. On a second day, it keeps showing E4. Which means overflows or water leak. But it has nothing wrong. I tried to take all the dishes out and leave only 4 dishes. But still showing E4 and there's nothing leaking. And then I call the company. They told me that I have to replace or return it to Amazon. Unfortunately, they couldn't explain to me why and don't have somebody come and fix it. So I have to return it and no replace it because their system is not good. So sad I'm 0nly use it 1 time.

Not bad, but I got it much cheaper than I ...
Not bad, but I got it much cheaper than I see it listed now. Arrived early, packaged very well. Easy setup, compartment size barely accommodates listed 6piece settings, but in line with sizes I've seen from competitors. Will need to run daily for 1/2 people essentially. A little disappointed with wash quality. I'll have to get the dishes near clean prior to dishwashing. Kind of defeats the purpose, but maybe there's a break in period. Will update review/rating if I find otherwise down the road.Aesthetically speaking, it's very easy on the eyes. Much more white than the pictures suggest. Sleek lines, pleasing user interface, slight gap between door and base is a bit wide in my opinion, allowing some of the wiring and inner components into view, an observation not seen w competitors. It's not terrible or a deal breaker, but maybe they'll pay a little more attn to detail w next model. All in all, I'm pleased, as I wasn't expecting much out of a compact countertop dishwasher. But as a single working male, I wouldve liked to skip the pre-rinse in a sink and the post cleaning water spot removal lol. Better than nothing.PS the dishes were used for a pasta dinner the night before, with sauce (gravy if ur from Jersey lol) left to dry

Fantastic product, total game-changer if you're hand washing!! Review & tips for use
9mos later Update: Still working great, still worth every penny. No leakage, I use this thing maybe 5-6 times per week. Water/energy efficient as well. Do take the time to clean it monthly -- the filters, the door, and the hoses too. Will help make sure your dishes keep smelling fresh. Doesn't hurt to run an empty load with some dishwasher cleaner every couple of months either.**Original Review**I've been fortunate to live in an apartment that I love for a few years now, and one of the only drawbacks to this place is the lack of dishwasher. It's a luxury I was willing to go without for the sake of a great living space. Now I do kind of enjoy washing dishes to an extent, I find it to be meditative and satisfying, but it's a big consumer of time. Especially so when my partner and I both work full time, and often eat late dinners between 8-10pm and just don't feel like doing chores afterwards, so things can pile up.There are a lot of similar units closer to the $200 price range, but most of them were brands I'd never heard of, didn't have any LED displays, and a lot are just on the boring side aesthetically. We decided it was worth a little more to go with a brand we knew we liked, the display, and something that wasn't all white or all black. Very glad we did! We've had this thing for about 6 weeks so far, and we use it probably about 5 times per week. Our kitchen has never been cleaner, and without any sort of planning my partner and I have naturally worked on a 50/50 split of running the wash because it's so easy. Let me tell you -- we still marvel regularly at what a life upgrade this has been. So much time back, cleaner kitchen, less stress around chores, and the cleanest dishes we've ever had. I am pretty meticulous about cleaning dishes thoroughly, and I have been impressed with the wash quality. Now I'll give some practical tips for anyone who has one of these or is in the market:- These countertop units are definitely on the heavy side, especially if you're a smaller person. So I highly recommend having either a dedicated counter spot for it, or getting a wheeled cart where you can tuck the unit below and move it into place as needed. This is coming from a pretty large dude who has been a manual laborer on more than one occasion.- The hose that connects to the sink needs a little attention after each wash cycle to make sure it's fully drained. We usually put a large mixing bowl onto the floor, then angle the hoses as needed to let gravity do its thing until there's no more water leaking out. Talking maybe 1-2mins of work at most.- I've read reports of leakage from these units. We did spot a leak, but it was connected to my point above. Moving the hoses around while draining meant that the connection on the back of the unit loosened up a bit, and some water dripped out from there. Now every time I drain the hoses, I simply check the connection as well and tighten if needed, and no leaking ever since.- I've tested out various levels of rinsing dishes, and overall I'd say that minimal rinsing is required for most things. I do a quick pass under the sink for anything that is heavily soiled, especially if it's got onions or other foods that tend to really stick. More than rinsing, I think it's important to make sure that the way you're loading the washer isn't blocking the things that are heavily soiled. The instructions give some general pointers on spacing, and while I still manage to cram more into this thing than is suggested, I make sure that anything real dirty has enough space for water to comfortably flow around it.- Larger plates may not fit in this thing, at least not in the plate rack. I believe the 10-10.5" range is ideal. If your plates are larger you might need to wash them in a smaller load and angle them into place. Have done this once or twice and the end result was still a nice clean set of dishes.Hands down one of the best purchases I've made in the past 5 years.

    Perfect for apartment living! UPDATE
My husband got this for me for Christmas because I'm always behind on the dishes even though it's just us and our toddler. When I make all 3 meals a day I tend to use every dish and pot we own so I spend half the day cooking and the other half don't dishes. Boo.This dishwasher is wonderful! It works well and cleans most everything on the first try. We now don't have to soak dishes overnight or leave them out to be soaked and scrubbed the next day. The only times we've had to run something through a second time is when a small measuring cup jammed things up (thanks to my toddler), or when my husband loaded the silverware wrong and a knife handle kept the detergent compartment from opening all the way.I know some people have complained about having to clean the food trap after every use, but we haven't had that problem. We habitually scrape the plates and pans over the trash before we load them. I do check the trap every so often, but it really haven't needed to clear a clog or more than a grain or two of rice.I absolutely recommend this dishwasher for small families or even single people who don't want to have a sink full of dishes waiting for them to tackle.Update: I've had this for 2 years now & run it every other day. Sometimes several times a day.We still love it and it runs as well as it ever did. The only time there was an actual problem was last Halloween my husband got lazy cleaning some pumpkin carving things off and some pumpkin seeds got lodged in the drain tube and it was kind of a giant mess. If either of us knew what we were doing it probably wouldn't have been terrible, but he picked the wrong day to break the darn thing so it was tragic.BUT the machine survived all trauma inflicted upon it and runs well to this day.I clean the food trap about once a month. But because it clogs, but because it's now on my mind. You won't be sorry if you get this!

    Happy so far
Have had the B&D dishwasher for over a month and I’m quite happy with it’s build quality and performance thus far. Don’t really like faucet attachment method but it allows you to get up and running quickly without a plumber. It seems a but pricey for its size and especially when compared the 1/2 standard width, 18”, full heigh dishwashers in the market. If I were to do it again I’d look harder at these 1/2 width units and piping it in.

    Excellent Dishwasher
Still a bit on the large size for my tiny kitchen, but nevertheless, an excellent product. This is my first time ever having a dishwasher, and using the right dish detergent pods, dishes come out squeaky clean. The hose hookup to the sink is fast and easy to connect and reconnect, with no leaks or issues. After owning this for about a month, you definitely want to run this on a medium to full load for maximum efficiency. Generally I find the normal wash to work the best, as the quick wash can miss a small speck or so, but a quick rinse to that one speck that it missed will wash right off very easily.Highly Recommend this dishwasher, my only gripe is that it got cheaper once I purchased it, so definitely a good value if you can get it for under $480!

Very useful, happy with my purchase
I love this dishwasher. I’ve always wanted one but my kitchen just won’t allow it. It is about an inch too tall to fit under my cabinet but I have it on a stand that I just move closer to the sink when I use it because the hoses aren’t long enough. I have tried finding a longer replacement or way to extend it another foot or two, but have not found anything yet because of the type of attachments that are used. So the hose length and also the drain hose attachment are the only two negatives that I’ve found. It is a plastic piece that attaches the drain hose to the back of the machine and you have to make sure to tighten it every time before running a cycle because it can leak if you don’t. I bought the dishwasher pods for it and they work well. You only need to run cold water into it, the machine heats up the water for you. I’ve found that the 45 minute cycle is enough for most dishes as long as you’ve rinsed them beforehand. Glass comes out beautifully. If you’re on the fence, despite its faults, I still think it is worth it.

Broken within 3 months, long wait for replacement, and ultimately disappointed.
When first purchased, this seemed like a fantastic compact dish washing option. We were able to wash approximately 1/3 of the amount of dishes in this in the same amount of time as a full load in a full sized washer, but considering the countertop design, that was fine. While the dish drying feature never worked as well as I had hoped, dishes came out consistently clean for the 3 months it worked. After 3 months, we started experiencing a E4 error, indicating an internal leak in the machine, causing water to leak out of the bottom of the washer onto our countertop.Due to still being under warranty, we contacted the third party warranty service listed in the manual, explained the situation and error code, went through some troubleshooting steps, and ultimately they determined it was a faulty unit that they would replace, after mailing them the following: my information, the serial number sticker from the machine, and the electrical cord which I was required to physically cut, making the machine inoperable. It has been nearly a month since they have received the items (verified over the phone on follow up calls) and yet to receive a replacement, nor any information regarding how long a replacement will arrive.**UPDATE — moved from 1 to 2 stars**I did receive a replacement unit, after approximately 2 months since it originally shipped and multiple phone calls with their warranty department. The replacement must have been an older refurb (had a sour food smell to it upon setup that my original did not have). For most of its life, it has worked relatively well. However, effectiveness has very clearly declined since first use. When first used, nearly all dishes were well washed. But now, over a year later, despite being well maintained and regularly cleaned, more than half of dishes washed each cycle are not completely cleaned. Most dishes will still have food grime and remnants still on them, even after pre-washing.We have tried using different brand detergents, as well as the various different programs/modes available on the machine. While it served it's purpose for a time, I'm disappointed with the purchase. At the expense this item is, I expected better longevity and effectiveness. But for now, I will continue pre-scrubbing dishes before the dish washer, but at that point— what's the point of having the dish washer?

The connecting adapter didn't fit in our drop faucet, but we took everything to Home Depot associate and he was able to figure out some custom solution for us. It is not super perfect but does the job for which we are super happy.

    Amazing investment.
Set up was pretty reasonable, but get some Teflon tape to stay ahead of any potential for leaks because I didn’t and not everything was screwed on tightly (user error). This thing has made life so much easier and I honestly don’t understand why I didn’t get this sooner.

    Awesome
This product is about the same size as a microwave. It is sealed well and very quiet. It also uses little water. The inside holds a lot of dishes. You can wash up to an 11 in plate. I rinse everything, to remove most the food, and stack it on the rack, everything comes out spotless. It comes with an adapter to attach it to your faucet, as most portables do. The down side is, depending on what faucet you have, you might have to remove the spray head/ nozzle. Once removed the adapter should just screw in. Then reverse the process to use your spray head/ nozzle again, or just deal with using the adapter all the time. I have looked at Home Depot and Lowe's for a quick connect to install on my spray head, but can't seem to find the right size. This is a issue that all the portable dishwashers seem to have.Other then the connection issue, this product is perfect.

So far an awesome dishwasher (have only run one test load at this point)
Just received this dishwasher today, it was easy to unbox and set up and my corelle dishes fit perfectly. I currently live in a 100+ year old house and the kitchen was not set up for a dishwasher, I was lucky enough to find a whirlpool full size portable dishwasher at the local goodwill shortly after I moved but I don't accumulate dishes fast enough to make it worth loading and running most of the time. This dishwasher is the perfect size for most of my dishes, although the cup racks are not useful for cups that is a minor gripe, and now there is no reason for my sink to accumulate random small stuff that I procrastinate washing, I'll have a clean sink again :)

This thing does a great job.
The only complaint is that the top of it was dented in, but that's not B&D's fault or Amazon. It was the young lady driving the UPS truck, flipping it through the truck and down the steps onto the ground. I guess UPS was desperate around Christmas. This is my first ever dishwasher and it's great. It was easy to install and it works perfectly. Love it!

    Excellent! Countertop dishwasher
I had ordered a RCA, countertop. It never came in. So I ordered this one it was rated high in ratings. It is perfect for me. It does not fit under my countertop. I have used it daily, it is quiet, I can get my dirty dishes out of sink and put up. Perfect for a rental. I have hard water. I put rinse aid in the rinse dispenser! I love it. I have washed my dishes every day! It is not for alot of dishes, pots or pans! Perfect for a couple or single person. The RCA came in Thanksgiving day. I returned it was much smaller, this was already up and running, I put full size plates, silverware, glasses etc. I love it.

This has been a true life saver for me...
I installed this unit very easily (with my sons help as I could not lift it) in a matter of minutes. So far after a weeks worth of use it has met my every need. I liver in elderly housing, there are no dishwashers, after receiving permission to use this it has changed my life. Due to neck and upper back problems I have difficulty standing for long periods without being in pain. This has solved my problem. I load it as the day goes on and every evening I run it to do my days dishes. My dishes come out clean as a whistle. No more dishes stacked in the sink. Just make sure you use gel dishwasher liquid and the rinse aid is especially important for spotless dishes. This was a gamechanger. Unless something happens as things go along I am very very happy with this product. Oh and the plus? Virtually little noise, just a hum and you can hear it when it drains a bit but otherwise a very quiet unit. I highly recommend this unit. It may be a bit more expensive than other models but quality is more important to me. Oh and you can fit a lot of dishes in this unit very easily! I will update as time goes on if need be but right now I have never been more pleased with a dishwasher in my life!

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS. Don't be fooled like me
I excitedly and happily purchased this countertop dishwasher nearly two weeks ago after reading all of these glowing reviews. It was one outstanding review after another with anecdotal stories and lots of photos - they must all be legit, yes? Wrong. There's no way that all these reviews are legit. This is the worst product I have purchased in a long, long time. Maybe even ever. Which is saying a lot because I buy a lot of stuff online - and some turns out to be crap. This is far worse than I ever could have imagined. The problem with this dishwasher is two-fold: the shoddy design and that mine was defective. If you look at my photo, this is where you screw the water hose into the faucet. Does that look sustainable? No, because it most certainly is not. Everything that could unscrew did unscrew and this hose is just waiting to BUST. The video that they show in this product is NOT THE DISHWASHER YOU RECEIVE. It has a totally different hookup. I was shocked when the directions told me that this Octopus mess of hoses is what screws into the faucet. I decided to try it out anyway and it leaked like crazy - even where there it was factory sealed.I tried to call the 1-800 number inside the instruction manual. The number rings, it answers, and then silence. Pure golden silence. No automatic phone system, no human, nothing. I called 9 times because I thought it was my phone but it most certainly was not.Save your money, save yourself a headache and save some time. DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER.

Great for a small apartment, or even a camper.
My parents' had a portable dishwasher at their house, and when they both passed that was one of the many things that was sold. I lived in an apartment, and I had no room for it. When I saw that they had countertop versions I just had to get one. Just for the convenience of not having to wash the dishes. That gives me more time to do other things. So far I have not had any problems.

    Glowing review, very satisfied!
I wanted to wait to write this review until I had enough time to use it and form an opinion. I've had this item for a month now and it has been wonderful! My boyfriend and I purchased this because we recently rescued a pregnant cat that ended up having 6 kittens! They all have to eat several times a day, so they make a lot of dishes. My job is pretty demanding, so we were starting to struggle with keeping up with the housework. While adorable and completely worth it, kittens can be very messy! I bring this up for one reason, I run this several times a day and this machine is quiet enough that it doesn't disturb the cat or kittens sleeping even though our apartment is fairly small. The dishes come out very clean, I've not had anything come out soiled yet, we do scrape our dishes after eating but I rarely rinse them unless the plate is really soiled with something very sticky like BBQ sauce or honey. Of least importance but still nice - it looks really good in my kitchen and fits on our apartment sized counters nicely. This dishwasher has been a major stress reliever in our very busy life, and has given us more time to relax and enjoy our new family members with what few hours we have free, I would buy this again in a heartbeat if anything ever happened to it. You get a lot for your money and I couldn't be happier!

It's like a 2 hour version of Russian Roulette so if you love gambling then this is for you!
There's a 30-50% chance that after you set this bad boy to do it's business that it'll instead reward you with a tiny little bit washed set of dishes and 2 hours of this puppy commandeering your kitchen sink that you'll never get back. I've done several loads on this where the soap pellet is just partially used and then magically survived the journey through the water going in and out of the machine. I tried to return it for a refund but my decision to do so happened to be outside of the ol' return window -- which I thought was extended via the extended protection plan I got for it.. I was told my options are basically to junk it and get nothing, or get it serviced and try to sell it. SO I now have a beautiful paperweight that I find absolutely no use for and have $384.99 + whatever the tax was less in my bank account. Thanks Bezos. Stellar site you've got here. And thank you Black and Decker for making this a real fun experience for me right here and convincing me to stay away from your products because I might end up having too much fun.

    Get Rinse Aid
Ships to Alaska, no extra charge if i remember correctly. There were not to many videos on setup and what the buttons did but there's a easy manual with it. The clock picture button is a timed delay start not the start button. Does not dry very well without Rinse Aid, but dries pretty well with Rinse Aid. I think it air dries from the heat already in there or something so I run it at night, obviously I turn the water to my kitchen faucet off after its done running. Still trying to figure out how to get the dishes more dry. Iv never had a counter dishwasher before, and I'm not sure if that's a common thing to not have your dishes super dry.Fits quit a bit in there, if you haven't had a dishwasher by now its not a magical machine that will get burnt or left on food sparkling clean. Rinse your food off the dishes if needed before putting in. I usually use the quick selection and so far iv had a few utensils that had stuff on them come out dirty. I put basically everything i can in the dishwasher with in reason.Didn't need extra parts to hook up to the sink, have a basic faucet nothing fancy. it comes with an adapter to hook up to the sink, with a hose hooks ups and two board pieces I assume you put under the dishwasher for less noise but mine barely fits under the cabinets. OMG this thing is pretty quiet, it will sound like water is leaking its just pushing air through. Should still make sure its not leaking the first time you try it. I'm rather pleased with it!

    Not bad...
I like this dishwasher, it’s large (not for a super small space or countertop) and gets hot enough to sanitize. Three months in, and a pipe blew in the back, which caused water to spill out and subsequently warp a cabinet where water was sitting. We realized it was missing a gasket upon inspection by a technician. Plastic on plastic with running water through apparently will often never end well. There were no other gaskets missing in the entire appliance, only one. So. We replaced the missing and all is well again. On a separate note, I bought this machine for a hefty $350.00+, and the next week it was nearly $100.00 cheaper - which I think is complete baloney.

    Exactly what I needed
So, firstly, my product did arrive damaged. I saw the big ding in the box and new unless it was double boxed, not even the foam would save it. My thoughts were correct and it was damaged as seen in the last few photos.Thankfully though, the damage was superficial. The outer shell is very thick and so the inside of the washer is perfect without damage. I didn’t care too much about the aesthetics so I kept it.Okay, now to the review!Someone said this is heavy, and honestly I’m 4’11’m and not muscular at all and I carried this alone up two flights of stairs in the box and put it on the counter myself. Maybe I’m stronger than I think I am, but I expected it to be far heavier. If you live alone and no how to lift without hurting your back. It’s not too difficult to move.Installation took no time at all. Maybe 10 minutes. Quick tip: if your sink needs to screw into the adapter, remove one of the black rings from the inside of the adapter. You do not have to take the adapter off the sink to run it which is great because it makes hooking up the hoses a .5 second task when you go to use the dishwasher.Use is SO simple. Hook up the hoses, check for leaks every time, load up the dishwasher, pick a cycle and that’s that. It beeps when it is done but I personally never hear it. I just keep track of the time. There are various settings and time to wash ranges from almost 2 hours for the heaviest setting and then 30 minutes for the rinse. There is a drying and sanitizing feature after the wash. Someone mentioned it doesn’t dry well (I’d have to agree) but I just let it sit then either pop the door open and let them dry over a few hours or hand dry them after. I recommend not putting anything by with big food particles to keep the catch at the base from clogging, but it, along with the splash bar thing can be removed and cleaned. Results: I found that the 45 minute setting which is a light wash works fine, even for heavily soiled dishes. Which is nice because I don’t want to run my water for 2 hours. This gets my dishes very clean. I use Blueland dish washer tabs but also have used seventh generation dish pods and both worked well. I did notice with the pods that I had a bit of residue and I think that’s just because it’s too much detergent. The Blue land tabs are smaller and I don’t have that issue. In summary, I think if you are in need of a dishwasher, this is a great choice provided you have the countertop space and/or have somewhere to put it. It is quite large and barely fit under my counters, but it is worth it. I will update after a few more runs, but right now, I would highly recommend!

    Perfect for a single dude!
This countertop dish washer is very efficient and super easy to hook up. It simply attaches to your kitchen faucet via quick connect. It looks very nice as well. Its perfect for 1 or 2 people. It's important you have the proper sized plates. 10 inch or a hair over will fit but 10.5 is probably not going to fit. So I bought a set of 10 inch plates. I really wanted a new set anyway. I like it so far, no issues.

Best dishwasher for the frequent mover
I HATE doing my dishes, and since I didn't want to pay for and figure out a full dishwasher hook up at my apartment, this was the solution. I have had this dishwasher since 2018 (!!!) and it has never failed me -- the only times it doesn't do its job is user error. Like if it doesn't melt the cascade platinum packet and there's some leftover, it's because there wasn't enough hot water at my place (not normal, it was just a day of a lot of showering). But with regular filter cleaning (and when I say regular I mean, every couple months I go oh sh*t and rinse it out) it works like a dream. The only issue I have now is that the gasket liner got cut up, and is now falling out of the liner -- I've been looking for replacement parts/service on the Black + Decker but apparently the site is down right now. Otherwise this is usually a pretty easy fix, to my knowledge!I've had this dishwasher going four years strong, and if I can fix the gasket issue, I'll be taking this to every other apartment I move to!

Wish I would have purchased this years ago
This washer is simple to use and set up and it washes dishes very well. I separately purchased a snap adapter for my Pur faucet water filter so it is quick and easy to switch back and forth.

    Purchase the extended warranty.
The spring inside my door malfunctioned. Black & Decker DOES NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR SALE. My machine is only 1 month out of mfg. warrantee. My only recourse is to find repair person before I cannot open or close the door. The dishwasher itself is very nice otherwise and as a handicapped senior citizen, using it every other day is worth every penny. It also shines up the bottom of my mom's 50 year old Revere pots.....

    Lifesaver!!! Perfect for apartment dwellers
This dishwasher has been a lifesaver. It was so easy to install. My boyfriend and I HATE doing dishes. Now it’s just as simple as rinsing the plate off and sticking it in the dishwasher. We run it every two days and there are only two people living in our home! It’s relatively quiet. The hum when you first start the dishwasher is loud but that’s it. We do live in an upstairs apartment and I run it at night.

Sometimes the food isn't as hot as it should be and I have to run it longer
Sometimes I have to run it longer then my old one to get it hot. Sometimes I have to run it more then 2 minutes to get the food hot.

Wish it held a bit more.
The capacity is off. I can fit three plates at a time and only if they are extremely tilted and pushing against the pylons. The plates don't fit if they are placed straight up and down. And I can't fit 4 in at a time as the description says. The forks knives and spoons aren't an issue. I also can only fit two bowls with three plates at a time. But it works, and it is better than not having one. But next time I will pay better attention to the inner dimensions given.

    Great with minor issues
It is a great investment as my lady and I are working full time, I am full time college student as well and she is part time with a child. Was a little disappointed as the first time I ordered it arrived with a smashed front glass panel. The replacement arrived with a broken silverware box, which makes it easier to use without the top lid. Also placing the silverware box in the front on the drawer causes the Soap Dispenser to fall to open all the way and thus caused only partial soap cube disintegration. Also due to being small it doesn’t have a drying/heat element so the dishes dry based on water temp and air/drying agent. I don’t have a issue but the lady does with this factOverall great purchase just minor bumps

Bigger than I thought it would be!
At almost 50#s, this dishwasher is a good size, and feels well-built. It took me almost a week, however, to get the right faucet adapters as I was connecting to a sprayer head (which has a smaller diameter hose connection, coarse threading) to the quick-release adapter (which has a fine and slightly larger diameter). It took (2) adapters, $20 to get the quick-release from the dishwasher to the handheld spray faucet hose!Another learning curve item: the amount of dishwashing detergent to use. Ha ha ha - at least I didn't have suds all over the countertop and floor! I'm using Cascade liquid (really more like a blue paste!), and put in the 15 level amount (for an ECO wash),... suds all over the inside after finishing! I ran the Rinse mode to get rid of all that.Major reason I bought this was to conserve water as we are going into ANOTHER drought in CA. It DOES save more water than if I washed the dishes by hand. Worth the purchase.

    Worth the money!
I have had this dishwasher for a couple months now and I have nothing but nice things to say about it. You definitely get your moneys worth. It was bigger and heavier than expected, especially with dishes, but worth it. It holds mostly all of our dishes except bigger plates. It also cleans really nicely and Ive never had to run something twice because it didn't clean well enough. Only thing that bothers me is Ive found the dishwasher pods tend to get stuck in the dishwasher pod holder and don't get used during the wash, causing me to rerun the load. Was wondering if this is an issue others have had as well but I haven't seen anything pertaining to that. Could just be the dishwasher pods though. Regardless, definitely worth the purchase and recommend to anyone who doesn't have a dishwasher!!

This is a hassle waiting to happen. DO NOT BUY!
I liked this product while it worked. I bought this product in April and it lasted a total of 4 months before it stopped working. I contacted customer support, started the return in August and I am still waiting for them to send me the replacement appliance. This is all despite it being within warranty and jumping through the hoops of their return requirements. I have contacted customer service dozens of times over the past few months and every time I get the same non-answer and nothing gets done. I have also asked for a refund and been ignored. If you value your dollar, time and sanity, buy this appliance from somewhere else. I am still waiting for a resolution.

    Working Great So Far
We’ve run it about 20 times, no leaks and dishes are clean. We dont have a pull down faucet, so we couldnt hook it up to the faucet head. The threads on the plastic hoses it comes with dont appear to be standard. We through the supply hose away and got a standard dishwasher hose. For drain hose we left the diffuser (that would have gone on the faucet) and just set it in the sink. We tried just putting the drain hose in the sink by itself but it was spraying out of our sink when the dishwasher drained.

    FANTASTIC COUNTER TOP DISHWASHER!
Give yourself the luxury/freedom you deserve, with this wonderful Black & Decker Countertop Dishwasher! It’s really nice & very efficient. Comes ready to hook up. Make sure to read your instruction booklet & be patient with yourself, as you learn how to load it for the most efficiency. It has freed me up with time....& no more dish pan hands! Works best to open door after stopping to allow air dry, & then unload a few minutes later. Then you can put dishes away completely dry! It works great for 1 - 2 people in the household. As a single senior, I am in heaven! Seniors living on a limited income & need to prepare all their meals at home & thus generate several dirty dishes a day will benefit from the use of this very efficient DW. I don’t like leaving dirty dishes in the sink but I don’t like having to wash dishes every hour of the day. This portable DW allows you to rinse dishes as you use them & immediately load them into the DW till it’s reached capacity to warrant turning it on. Energy use is best used when you use the 45-minute cycle. This cycle has a prewash, which I use a detergent pod for but do not use a second pod for the primary cycle, as it’s really not necessary if dishes are lightly rinsed before loading, but will eliminate over sudsing. You will NOT go wrong with this B&D DW! Have fun & free yourself up. Life is too short for anything less!

Our Best Decision for a Counter-top Dishwasher
We have been looking for a compact dishwasher for some time. We have been full-time RV living for the past two years with a three kids under 7, and hand washing all the dishes that our crew goes through. What was the biggest deciding factor (after considering the top 20+ products, prices, features, energy use {especially as our RV power is at the higher commercial rate, not the lower residential rate}, interior space, and exterior dimensions) came down to this model having a child-lock.Fun Fact-Almost all counter-top dishwashers are made by the same company and given various "brand specific" controls/faces. But at their essence they are the same. The company that makes most compact dishwashers, Midea, also has limited rights to use the Toshiba name on smaller appliances, owns the vacuum company Eureka, and makes our beloved InstantPot.For us, having a child-lock so our little ones don't mess with it was a selling point. Yes it comes at a higher price than the "Best seller", but for us that is well worth the extra money.Currently, it is on the counter-top and out of 2/3 of our children's reach. In the future, hopefully sooner rather than later, I will be installing it permanently where our propane stove resides (as we use other electric appliances such as a Sous Vide, Instant pot, and induction burner) placing it well within 100% of the kid's ability to mess with it.In all cycles it operates quietly, with a gentle hum as it washes, until it drains and the water comes out. The first few times it caught us off guard with how loud the water came out. Now we have come to expect it. To be clear, the washer itself is not loud during this portion of the cycle, it is the sound of the water coming out of the hose adapter and falling into the (miraculously) empty sink. We can run it after we have put the kids down and they have yet to stir or complain of the noise. It holds enough for our family of five and and was easy to install.I did have to get a different faucet adapter, as my threads were just slightly larger than the adapter that was provided. My threads were 15/16" - 27 on the inside and the adapter provided was 55/64" - 27 on the outside. But a $3.50 adapter from the local store was all that was needed.Tip: Before you order or it arrives, you can take your current faucet aerator into most hardware stores and they will be able to tell you your threading and the adapter needed, if any.I will add pictures, update periodically, and as any issue *knocks on wood* arises.Overall, well pleased with it's appearance, functionality, and ease of installation.

Big solution for a small space.
Edit: May 10, 2022Still tweaking to make this even more awesome and treat it well so it lasts a long time. I was frustrated by the large spacing that allows smaller items to tip below the rack and potentially hit the washer arm. My solution is a silicone mat “dishwasher bag” sold to snap into a envelope of sorts for baby bottle nipples and pacis. I laid it in the bottom (see photo) and now it’s a perfect place to lay larger utensils! Works a charm!Edit: May 4, 2022Still going well and I’m happy. I because I have it with the water permanently hooked up I was worried that the unit was not meant to have the pressure of constant inbound water. The hook up hose usually gets detached between uses. So, I added a shorter hose with 3/8” compression fittings on both ends and an inline quarter turn valve. Now I turn the water on to use and off when it’s done. Just being careful and wanting to keep it working wonderful.Moving into a small cabin from an average house I was short on space but loath to give up a dishwasher. After reading many helpful reviews, we went for it.I have not had it long so won’t attest to that but will address the questions I had that I couldn’t find answers to.No, the Corelle dinner plates at 10.75” do not fit. Specs say 10” and that about it. You could fit in 2 or 3 at a sharp angle but it is not an efficient use of space. We use the salad size at 8.5” a lot anyway.Dishes come out way dryer than I expected. It’s not super quiet, but not bad. You trade the small size for sound insulation.I have a sprayer faucet and didn’t want to do that hook up anyway. Also, the hoses (at 5’) were a couple feet short of where I wanted to put the washer. Here is my temporary solution. When I trust the whole setup I’ll drill some holes in the countertop and cabinets. Maybe. For the fill, it is a Garden hose thread to the back of the dishwasher. An 8’ dishwasher connection hose kit worked for me. There is an garden hose to ⅜” compression elbow at the dishwasher then a braided hose with ⅜” compression fittings on each end. I first changed my valve under the sink to one that had two ⅜” compression fittings (and two shutoff valves) so I had one for the dishwasher and one for the faucet hot water. The drain hose was more challenging as I could not find anything that hooked up straight to the dishwasher. I used the supplied hose which ends in a ½” compression fitting. This took 3 parts, see the picture for parts used. ½” comp to ½” FIP; a 1/2” nipple and ½” to ½” FNTP. For now, this just runs into the sink with a couple pieces of PEX. Take care not to use any fittings that restrict the hose flow smaller than the supplied hose.My other challenges were that the dishwasher covers the switches for the over sink light and dishwasher switch. A couple of smart bulbs has Alexa turning off the lights and and sink mount air button took care of the disposal. I used this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716D6BNC?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_71YCK888A7FMZZQ5NYCQA big thank you to the lady in plumbing at Lowes and the two random plumbers shopping there who stopped and helped.

Great product but tricky to set up
My husband and I moved into our house about a year ago which had no dishwasher. After a year of hand washing everything I finally could not take it anymore. With crazy work hours for both of us, it felt like all of our free time was spent cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes. After we ordered this, our lives changed for the better. Easy to load and turn on while you are doing other things. Set up was hard as our sink needed a specific attachment to get the hose to connect, but once we figured that out, we have used this anywhere from 3 to 5 times a week. You also need to make sure that hose leading from the back of the dishwasher is at a good angle. If left not being able to run smoothly to the sink, you can get an E4 error which usually has meant food debris stuck in the tube for us. Always check to make sure tube is clear and can easily run to the sink. Overall great product and would recommend.

    This thing rocks
I love this machine. It was recommended by some friends and I love it. I had to get some other hardware to have the hoses attach, but it cost less than $10 at my hardware store. It’s quiet, and does a great job. You can’t have things too soiled with dried on food or cloying sauces/residue. My only complaint is the drain valve on the faucet attachment. There’s no effort in the design to have the draining wash water from spraying all over your sink. I wish it had a 6-10” tube maybe, to direct it more clearly to the drain. But clearly that’s a first world complaint.

    Gets the job done
This is in use at a seasonal home / cabin... and it's a perfect choice for that.First off - I threw the hoses into the garbage can and plummed it into my under sink hot water line and disposal in on the garbage disposal. That probably cost about $30 in parts and a 2" hole in the counter behind the unit, but I didn't want to look at the ugly connector hanging off the faucett...even if it did fit.It does the job. And it does it well. My plates are little big, so I'm not getting anywhere near 6 place settings in it.. but I'm really happy with the cleaning it does. A little less happy at the 1:40 cycle time considering you can wash a lot of dishes by hand in 1:40.It's really pretty quiet, so credit there. WIsh I had bought it about a year earlier.

People should be told about product they are purchasing. The dangers.
I return it before took it out of the box on the Top it said 3 time that this Machine can cause damage to women reproductive organs and cause children to come up with some type of disease and on the front it had one warning on the front so all together there were four warnings I don't need any more problems in my life so I returned it the very next day. Thank you.

Cheap plastic parts are easy to break on install.
As I went to attach the hose to the dishwasher, the nut snapped in half. I tried to contact customer service and they will not even reply. They will not send just the part. The hose is difficult to find and its expensive for one that may or may not work. It's a strange size so you can't just pick up parts at the local hardware store if you're in the US. If this happens to you, marine tape and super glue holds decently. Also, it only really cleans if you essentially clean the dishes first. I thought that black and decker would have a better product but it's overall disappointing.

Scrubs my pans better than I can
I was nervous about getting a countertop model because I thought it would be low-powered and ineffective. This machine gets baked-in stains off my ceramic-coated pans that I am unable to remove with several minutes of heavy scrubbing. I did have to purchase a separate faucet adapter because my faucet isn’t standard, but it was only a few dollars and was easy to install. This machine is one of the best purchases I have ever made—even after a year of steady use. I would absolutely purchase again.

    Fantastic
I was a little hesitant on buying this because i didn’t know how it would hook up to my sink, how well it would work, etc. But it got some of my grossest dishes clean on the first wash. As someone who has depression and anxiety and juggles several responsibilities daily, hand-washing dishes has always been a no-go for me. This has plenty of room for lots of dishes, AND different modes for different types of washes!

    This one is great.
I have always had built in dishwashers. This is the first counter top one I ever bought. This one cleans! In 20 + loads it has only had 1 dish come out dirty. I have been trying to see what it will do and it cleanes every item great. So the bad:It is half the size of a big one but it cleans way better. The only real bummer to me was that it took multiple deliveries to get one that was not busted. The delivery guy kept dropping them so hard of his truck it would shatter the glass. Ups brought this one and its Awsome. Its the best Money I ever spent on a dishwasher. We buy alot and most have been less than impressive from the start. This one inpressed me with the fact its all ways clean. I use the pod and it worked better than the gel in this one. No spots or even a hase on the dishes with this unit. Is also so quiet I have to touch it to know its on. So that was a unexpected bonus.

More positive feedback on this product
This is a 4th update since I have been using this between early December 2018 and mid-April 2019. Cleans well. Helps to wipe food off dishes with a paper towel over your trashcan, the load dishes and pots. I am using the cleaning pods, generally only one per cycle, and the dishes still come out immaculate. I would use this same procedure with a full sized dishwasher, however, since I don't like to see or smell the food traps building up with food debris in the first place. About once a month, I run a cycle on vinegar only, no dishes, no soap, just to keep it extra clean and smelling fresh. All in all, this is a superior product. I hate washing dishes by hand when an apartment has not DW, so this product has been a real boon to me and given me time and freedom back. The dishes and glasses come out so clean on the 45 minute cycle, including pots and pans that have been wiped with a paper towel first, that I know I am eating off of and cooking with clean dishes and cookware. Skip doing dishes by hand - buy this product instead. This is a third update:About 25 dish washing cycles later, this product continues to perform well and reliably. I use the 45 minute setting symbolized by the glass/cup icon, which does an admirable air dry of the dishes. I am amazed how clean the dishes come out. I recommend using this particular cycle for most of your average needs and save the lengthier cycles for the heavy duty washing. However, I recommend that you routinely wipe any food particles from cookware and dishes first before loading the dishes for cleaning. This keeps the filters clean and is a small price to pay for keeping the dishwasher performing at optimal level. I also recommend that you check the hose fittings once a week just to ensure they are secure in place, and that you use the dishwasher when you are home to monitor or at least be there if any hose slips out of place. So far, all hoses have remained secure in place, and I do not anticipate this will be a problem. If you are thinking about buying a countertop dishwasher, I highly recommend you consider buying this product. Black + Decker designed an excellent product here.Update to the review below: I have run about 12 loads so far since getting the device. It is performing well and cleaning the dishes beautifully, plus sanitizing them in the process. I still recommend that you run the dishwasher only when you are home to monitor - water discharges frequently through the quick connect faucet valve, several times during the cycle, and I think it is important to be around to verify that hoses are still tightly connected. So far, hoses have stayed put, and I don't anticipate problems. I do plan to sanitize the dishwasher once a week with running a short cycle with a splash of white vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda in it, while empty. This will keep the dishwasher sanitized itself and help ensure the quick connect faucet unit remains clean. This dishwasher has given me my kitchen back - there is no more backlog of dirty dishes to wash by hand. I can now load the dishwasher with dirty dishes daily, and run later in the week as needed. This beats washing dishes by hand by many orders of magnitude. No more washing dishes by hand here!I just hooked my new unit up yesterday and ran a first load. The dishes were immaculate after the wash cycle - something that cannot be attained by washing them by hand. And, they are sanitized as well. The dishwasher came well packed, and it nice looking - however, it is all white with a stainless front handle. Even so, it still looks good in the kitchen. The product is well designed and well built. Remember to have teflon tape handy when you hook up the adapter to your faucet, much like you would use when switching shower heads in the bathroom. The teflon tape secures the threads in place. I babysat the first load yesterday to become accustomed to what it does when during the wash cycle - and I am babysitting the 2nd load now, again to become familiar with how the dishwasher operates, when it discharges water throughout the cycle, etc. I do recommend that in an apartment or condo building, that you run the unit only when you are at home, so that you can monitor hoses to make sure they are staying in place under water pressure. I also don't mind having to remove large bits of food from dishware before loading - I hate doing dishes by hand (there are no dishwashers in apartments in my building), so I am happy to live with this minor inconvenience for the bigger convenience of it cleaning my dishes wonderfully. Now, I can get my kitchen back in shape! I will write a second review later after I have used it for a few weeks. I expect I will continue to be impressed. So, I recommend you buy this product - it is number 2 in the list of top 10 countertop dishwashers, and I bought it because Black & Decker is a manufacturer I have trusted for years.

    Amazing Tabletop Dishwasher
The media could not be loaded.  This is the best decision/purchase I made. I always hated washing dishes by hand. Face it who really wants to have brittle nails. When delivered the box was heavy box I managed to get it in the house and on top of the counter with a little elbow grease. The hook up was very simple I just attached it to my sink.Since this is a counter dishwasher you cannot do a full load. This is great for a single person.Highly Recommend.

    Working perfectly 6+ months!
I give thanks every time I use this machine. It has made my life so much easier. I have had it for over half a year now and it works perfectly. I use it about every other day. The pipe attachment with the sink snaps on and off like a breeze. My dishes are a little big to pack it like the manufacturing image but it still holds plenty for a 1-2 person household. Wish I had known countertop dishwashers were a thing sooner!

    Amazing
My house is over 100 years old and I thought I could not have a dishwasher unless I renovated the entire kitchen. This is amazing. Easy to install - it comes with an adapter, you don’t need to purchase one. But all you need for hook up comes with it. I plan on doing a permanent water / discharge hook up with the lines underneath the sink, but the overall faucet attachment isn’t bad, but ideally I just don’t want to see the lines. Overall, very happy with this.

    Amazing Buy
This is by far my best purchase! It is bigger than I had anticipated but it is amazing. Easy to install, easy to use, I love it. My daughter and I both hate doing dishes and this is the best solution for us. I have hard water and I read a review that someone used Cascade Platinum pods and Cascade rinse aid with their hard water and it worked wonders... it does! I have never seen my dishes so clean. I definitely 10/10 recommend.

Use a cart and have a wrench
I’m very impressed with it. It is slightly taller than I measured so it didn’t fit under my counter but on 2nd thought I didn’t really have the counter space for it anyway. It doesn’t fit on a normal microwave cart so you gotta do some research (I found mine at Home Depot). Have a wrench prepared to tighten the bit on the sink cause it will spray the first time you try to use it after only hand tightening. Other than that I could not be happier with it!

Buy This and Save Yourself That $30,000 Remodel
This small-but-mighty appliance has changed my life. We live in a dark, depressing 1978 "park model". I spent as little time as possible in the galley kitchen, and consequently the dishes would pile up in the sink. Instead, I would spend hours drawing plans for a kitchen remodel that of course would expand to gutting the entire trailer. Thanks to this wonderful countertop dishwasher, this dysfunctional behavior is history. I load the DW, wash the pots and pop them into the drying rack next to the DW, and, magically, miraculously, the tiny kitchen is so much less depressing. Observe in the photos how neatly it fits beneath the overhanging cabinet. And, if I ever do gut the kitchen, I imagine I can install this under the new counter. Thank you, B&D!!

    Best investment ever
I loathe doing dishes And was initially hesitant in buying this because of the cost. It is absolutely, 100% worth the cost! My distress come out spotless after use and it’s not as loud as I thought it was going to be.The tray has weird shapes to it so putting dishes in it is a bit like Tetris at times but I don’t even really care about that.If you’re on the fence about it seriously just take the plunge and buy it, you won’t regret it!

    I'm absolutely in love
I have a family of 5 so dishes stack up quickly, I always felt like I spent more time hand washing the dishes, and get done just for thr sink to fill up again. It was stressful and depressing... I was quite hesitant to buy it due to the price and not wanting it to be crappy.... but this dishwasher is beyond my expectations. I literally cried happy tears with how well and easy it is to use. I am no longer hating going into the kitchen and seeing the mess. I'm more willing to cook meals, and seeing the not cluttered sink or counters has been amazing. I couldn't be more pleased.

    Best dang purchase ever IMO
So I've had this product for almost a year now and I feel like I can now give an official review on it.It's a hefty boy, and he will take up counter space, but the fact that it does heat the water was a total surprise especially when our hot water heater dramatically exploded all of its fluids onto the floor and I dreaded running the dishwasher with cold water. Hot water just makes me feel like my dishes are cleaner. Anyway I accepted my inevitable fate that dishes had to be done and there was no use waiting for the hot water heater to be fixed same-day, so I decided to give it a run and figured I'd wash them twice to make extra sure they were clean. At about 20 minutes into the wash cycle I open it up because I forgot to add a cup and low and behold there is steam coming out of the dishwasher, I know there is no hot water to the house, the water heater was in the backyard at this point, so imagine how shocked I was to see steam coming from this compact dish washer!I have never been so happy to know that even with cold water running in, it still makes it nice and hot to clean the dishes (especially from theor crusted on pasta sauce from 4 days prior #oops)Just a few tips.*you can disconnect the water hose from the input around 20-40 minutes before the end of the cycle*remember to pop open the door once it's done and leave it slightly cracked, or open the door all the way and pull the rack out so all the dishes can air dry.Overall this machine is going strong 1 year later, has been worth every penny so far and its perfect for the single pringle or the small family of 2 or 3.

We moved into a new house with toddlers. This saved my life.
I use this dishwasher every day, and have for over a month. It’s run at the very least once a day, often twice. We have two toddlers and one has a feeding tube. I wash all of our dishes, sippy cups, syringes, and tubing and it comes out spotless. The only time I’ve gotten error codes is by forgetting and shutting off the water after starting the dishwasher. That’s my fault. The dishwasher is great.

    Absolutely amazing
I am absolutely in love with this dish washer, I normally don’t write reviews but this was one that I had to do. For me my dishes would pile up for days on end. I HATE washing dishes and let me tell you living in a home that has no dishwasher hook up or the option to even put one in is beyond frustrating. When I found this bad boy I was over the moon!!! I have noticed that my dishes only get cleaned how I prefer on the heavy duty setting and doing a quick rinse before washing which does take 2 hours. To me that is still every bit of worth it like I said I HATE washing dishes. It is on the smaller side which means more loads. I usually do 3 loads a day for a family of 4 who likes to cook and a 4 month old who drinks a lot of bottles, so many bottles, and there are never any dishes in the sink at the end of the day which is absolutely AMAZING! Very easy to assemble and pretty self explanatory operation. Have had this dishwasher for a little over a month so far and its still in very good operation. So if you hate washing dishes by hand and don’t have the option for a normal size dishwasher I would highly recommend this product, seriously it’s a god send!!

    This is not good
This is great for bottles or silverware. Everything else not so much. You need to purchase the adapter separately. It's cosmetically the nicest on the market but it takes up alot of space. It just sits in the garage now. I ended up having to rehash everything.

    Doesn't connect to every faucet
Bought this with the faucet connector. Paid extra to receive the connection. Firstly, the dishwasher comes with a connector and paying extra wasn't needed. Secondly. the connection does not work with every faucet. Due to not being able to add water without a faucet connection (some mobile dishwasher allow water to be poured in), and the size of the dishwasher itself, we returned the product.

    Great for my limited space
I have lived in my house for 19 years. Many time I have tried to figure out which drawers or cupboards I was willing to sacrifice to squeeze in a dishwasher. This was the perfect solution! It works great for my family of four.

    Its a kitchen saver!!!
FINALLYYY! Ive never had a dishwasher in my life, have never used one and I HATE doing dishes!! Needless to say they would pile up on me and that was depressing. Im a single mom so having energy to do them was scarce. This dishwasher (I call her betty lol) saved my kitchen and my sanity!! I am so pleased and happy with my purchase I was literally squealing when I got it. It was extremely easy to install, I love the quick connect feature. I dont like not being able to use my faucet though but I found a way around that. I just use my sprayer if I really need to but dont do it for to long because you'll get an error code for low water pressure. I'm still learning how to load the dishes right to get them clean but most of them come out SPARKLING!

This has been sitting in my new laundry room for 2 years waiting for me to install hot water to my sink. No space in the kitchen. Make sure to check height and depth. Finally hooked up I am so very happy. Please read the owners manual to know which setting works for you. I use pods, hot water only and they work well. Heavy and Normal take a lot longer but clean well. I'm rinsing my dishes and using baby which has heated dry, but is a shorter cycle. Saves energy. After hand washing for the last 8 years, even this small washer is a dream. I have to hand wash larger bowls and pans, but it saves me so much time on utensils, glasses, plates and bowls. It is small, but works like a full sized washer. Worth the investment, just hook it up correctly and use as directed.

There were some bad reviews and when it arrived, even though I knew the dimensions, it looked bigger than I thought it would be and I thought I made the wrong choice at first, but after using it, it is very comfortable, and I am very happy with it. I was initially thinking of a smaller one with a tank, but this size is perfect for me and my daughter who cook and bring home lunches almost every day. first, I was thinking about a smaller one with a tank, but this size was perfect for my daughter and I who cook almost every day and bring home lunches. Great product (so far)!
So far I am very pleased with this product. It arrived sooner than I expected, packed well. The hose connection was easy with the supplied quick-connect aerator-adaptor (it stays on the faucet when the washer is not in use). In my small kitchen, I need to roll the washer to the sink, but it connects quickly (no leaks!--Teflon tape recommended). I like that the water and drain hoses are both connected to the faucet at the same time. It is quiet and washes well. Speaking as an engineer, this product reflects intelligent design and quality manufacture, and hope this is true also for its long term reliability. Only time will tell (I did purchased the maintenance contract just in case). In summary: so far, this washer's good reviews seem well justified.

I got this dishwasher hoping to be able to wash some of my smaller dishes so I would not have to wash everything by hand. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it can wash even large crackpots and skillets with no problem. Everything I have washed in it has come out clean and without any spots. Sometimes I do get some plastics that are a little wet when they come out. However, that is a minor issue.I would recommend this product to anyone who lives in an apartment, a camper or even a trailer. It is well worth the price. One other important thing. I am visually impaired and the buttens are very tactile. So if you are blind or visually impaired, you will have no problems using this dishwasher.

It's a decent little dishwasher, although sometimes there will still be a speck of food on a fork or some soap residue leftover, and I rinse my dishes off very well before I put them in there. But it saves me time and sanitizes the dishes, so that makes it worth it.It's quiet as it operates, but the pump and draining water are quite loud. It barely fits under my cabinets with less than a few centimeters to spare. It's a little taller than it let's on, but about 17.2 inches I believe (it's been a while since I measured it)I've had it for a few months now and it's still working great. I would recommend you get the insurance just in case. Because you know how these products are.

I love my new countertop dishwasher!! Easy to load and unload! It’s a great appliance for a one or two person household or an RV. My apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher and no where to keep a portable This is such a great option! It’s very quiet, gets my dishes and silverware clean. I can’t stand for long periods of time washing dishes. This appliance works for me!!

I was very hesitant in buying one of these. I did months worth of research and kept telling myself "I can live without one, I can do it by hand" but I was not keeping up with the dishes and it drove me bonkers. I have four kids and we just go through too many dishes and they'd pile up all day during summer and then I'm stuck washing everything on the weekends or having late night scrubbing sessions trying to clean up.So I spent a bit extra to get this brand that was a bit more but looked nicer, and had the best reviews. Good choice I think. It works perfect so far. I can wash dishes in the morning after breakfast, then come home at lunch because I live a half block from my work place, and do anything left over from the night before like pots and pans, then do dinner dishes after dinner. I sometimes need to run a 3rd load or a 4th load if I do meal prep or anything but that's OK.Each load is about 90 min and the only things you need to know are:1) put your pod in the bottom on the dishwasher. You don't have to use the door thing, it's only for liquids. pods can gunk them up with the film they use to hold them together.2) try to scrape it all and give a quick rinse beforehand. Melted cheese especially.3) It doesn't dry your dishes, there is no cycle for drying.4) it likely won't fit on your countertop if you have regular sized upper cabinets. It will be about 2 inches too tall. I bought a rolling cart and just put it on there, it fit perfect and I just roll it out of the way when im not using it.Good choice, the kids can run it and load it, and it's darn close to perfect.

My old Koldfront portable dishwasher lasted 7 years before the start button wouldn't work anymore. In looking for a replacement, I perused reviews and couldn't believe this one, with a lower price than most, had the most pleased customers. I really wanted a black model since the rest of my kitchen appliances, as well as the previous dishwasher were black. So I almost went with another, more expensive brand. But I finally convinced myself to just suck it up, and go with white (since this one doesn't come in black). Honestly I don't know why I had to wrestle with myself over the dang color because it is just fine and the microwave cart it sits on has a lighter top.The unit arrived 2 days early for one, so that was a good start. The packaging was excellent, and probably added another 10-15 pounds to the shipping weight. I set it up, rolled the microwave cart that it sits on over to the sink, and found that the electrical cord is not only shorter than my previous appliance, it extends from the right side, where my previous appliance had it on the left side. It wouldn't reach the plug I have been using. Minor set back, but I did have another plug I could use that was within reach. The rack is just a tinge smaller than my previous appliance, and the plate holders in a different configuration, so at first I disliked it. However, now that I have used it for 3 weeks, and learned how to load it for my needs, it is fine. My only issue is that I use mostly non-conventional dishes (cat and bird food/water dishes), so they don't neatly fit in the slots. If you use mostly standard plates, you will be fine. Another thing I dislike about the rack is that the top shelf is way too angled, so I can't fit some things that I am used to having up there. And, there is a hug gap between the two sections of that top rack so if I'm not careful a smaller cockatiel food dish may fall thru. You can see the difference between the two racks in the 3rd picture; Farberware rack on the left and Koldfront rack on the right. Those 4 water dishes would sit in the back and underneath the top rack in the old dishwasher (right), but the configuration of the Faberware rack does not allow for that (left). However, I have figured out how to make it work, and got over my discomfort regarding the change, so all is good.I love the way I can pick different modes with a push of the button and there are noticeable differences in the cycles. My previous dishwasher had a knob, but it really didn't seem to affect time or cycles unless it was just in rinse mode. I have experimented with a couple of settings on the Farberware and found that P4 works well for general use (as long as there isn't a whole lot of food stuck on) and only lasts about an hour and 20 minutes. I also love, love, love the countdown timer so I know how long it has to go.The dishwasher is very quiet compared to the old Koldfront, which makes me happy. Another thing, silly as it is, the old dishwasher flatware basket only had 2 slots that were big enough for the handles of my table knives to go in (and they aren't overly big handles). The Farberware basket has several slots large enough.Pros: Settings are noticeably different in time/water/cycles,Does the job of getting the dishes clean the first time, count down timer, quieter than other portables, the slots in the flatware basket are well thought out.Cons:Electrical cord is shorter than other models (although I am unsure about current models). Will say I've noticed this cord length issue when I've replaced other items like tower fans, so maybe it is a trend for everything. The upper rack tilts too severely and has too large a gap between the two sections.
